SUSTAINABILITY
Our Sustainable Products
We’re making conscious and thoughtful decisions from the very beginning of a product’s journey, from sustainable woods such as rattan and mango wood, to our sustainable velvets and boucles. Spanning across chairs, stools, tables, lighting, and even home decor, you can shop sustainably and guilt-free at Artisan Explore.
Sustainable furniture
From mattresses made with locally sourced wool and hemp to dining tables
crafted from sustainable or recycled wood, we're partnering with furniture
makers that are committed to producing eco-friendly furniture. And, of course,
we always recycle furniture packaging.
We've also created a series of online furniture care guides to help you keep
your furniture around for as long as possible. It's one of the easiest ways to
make a commitment to sustainable furniture.
Materials
We want to pave the way for conscious and responsible furniture design. That’s why we invest in sustainable materials from solid woods to recycled velvets. This process allows you to make more conscious decisions, by investing in eco-friendly products that not only consider the environment but are durable and long-lasting too.
Take solid woods and hardwoods such as mango wood, oak, beech, and ash that are renewable resources and biodegradable; Our natural rattan, cane, and cord is also 100% biodegradable, with the process of producing these materials being extremely eco-friendly; Lastly, we are forever expanding our sustainable fabrics including velvet and boucle, all made from used plastics.

As a brand we are working hard to reduce our carbon footprint and increase our ethical practices. We aim to continue to minimize our waste, and reduce any non recyclable elements within our packaging. We prioritize continuous improvement and employee awareness through training initiatives, and are working hard to weave a mindset of sustainability into our core operations. Whilst we may not be perfect, we are dedicated to continuous improvement and strive to make a positive impact on the world around us, one conscious choice at a time."
Packaging
The minute you place your order, we’re taking measures to ensure minimum waste and only necessary packaging.
You may think some packages seem larger than they need to be when you receive them, but this means we have considered the balance of using less packaging but also ensuring that your product arrives in perfect condition and ultimately creating less impact to our environment with damaged products having to go to landfill.
